# Working days and hours in Poland, October 2025

**October 2025 has 23 working days and a working time norm of 184 hours.**

The norm is for a full-time job in the basic working time system. Calendar days this month: 31.

There are no public holidays this month.

## How the norm is worked out

The Polish Labour Code (art. 130) gives 8 hours for every Monday to Friday and takes off 8 hours for every public holiday not falling on a Sunday. This month: 23 × 8 h − 0 × 8 h = 184 h.

First working day: Wednesday, 1 October 2025. Last working day: Friday, 31 October 2025.

### Part-time norms

- 1/2 of full time: 92 h
- 3/4 of full time: 138 h
- 1/4 of full time: 46 h

Legal basis: art. 130 of the Polish Labour Code and the Act of 18 January 1951 on public holidays (Christmas Eve off since 2025). More: [working days versus the working time norm](https://ordiarion.com/blog/polish-working-time-norm-explained).

- ZUS contributions and the PIT advance of a sole trader: by Thursday, 20 November 2025.
- VAT and the JPK_V7M return for monthly filers: by Tuesday, 25 November 2025.
