# Working days and hours in Poland, November 2026

**November 2026 has 20 working days and a working time norm of 160 hours.**

The norm is for a full-time job in the basic working time system. Calendar days this month: 30.

## Public holidays

- Sunday, 1 November 2026 - All Saints' Day
- Wednesday, 11 November 2026 - Independence Day

## How the norm is worked out

The Polish Labour Code (art. 130) gives 8 hours for every Monday to Friday and takes off 8 hours for every public holiday not falling on a Sunday. This month: 21 × 8 h − 1 × 8 h = 160 h.

First working day: Monday, 2 November 2026. Last working day: Monday, 30 November 2026.

### Part-time norms

- 1/2 of full time: 80 h
- 3/4 of full time: 120 h
- 1/4 of full time: 40 h

## One hour at the minimum wage

At the Polish minimum wage (4806 zł gross a month in 2026), an hour of work in November 2026 is worth 30.04 zł gross (4806 zł ÷ 160 h). Overtime with the 50% supplement: 45.06 zł, with 100%: 60.08 zł. The night work supplement (20% of that rate, art. 1518 of the Labour Code): 6.01 zł an hour.

## Deadlines for this month

- Pay at the latest on Thursday, 10 December 2026 (by the 10th of the next month; when that is a day off, the day before, art. 85 of the Labour Code).
- ZUS contributions and the PIT advance of a sole trader: by Monday, 21 December 2026.
- VAT and the JPK_V7M return for monthly filers: by Monday, 28 December 2026.

A tax or contribution deadline that falls on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday moves to the next working day (art. 12 § 5 of the Tax Ordinance). Pay moves the other way.

- 11 November (Wednesday): 2 days of leave (12 November and 13 November) give 5 days off, 11 November - 15 November
