# Working days and hours in Poland, July 2026

**July 2026 has 23 working days and a working time norm of 184 hours.**

## How the norm is worked out

The Polish Labour Code (art. 130) gives 8 hours for every Monday to Friday and takes off 8 hours for every public holiday not falling on a Sunday. This month: 23 × 8 h − 0 × 8 h = 184 h.

First working day: Wednesday, 1 July 2026. Last working day: Friday, 31 July 2026.

## One hour at the minimum wage

At the Polish minimum wage (4806 zł gross a month in 2026), an hour of work in July 2026 is worth 26.12 zł gross (4806 zł ÷ 184 h). Overtime with the 50% supplement: 39.18 zł, with 100%: 52.24 zł. The night work supplement (20% of that rate, art. 1518 of the Labour Code): 5.22 zł an hour.

## Deadlines for this month

- Pay at the latest on Monday, 10 August 2026 (by the 10th of the next month; when that is a day off, the day before, art. 85 of the Labour Code).
- ZUS contributions and the PIT advance of a sole trader: by Thursday, 20 August 2026.
- VAT and the JPK_V7M return for monthly filers: by Tuesday, 25 August 2026.

A tax or contribution deadline that falls on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday moves to the next working day (art. 12 § 5 of the Tax Ordinance). Pay moves the other way.
