# Working days and hours in Poland, October 2027

**October 2027 has 21 working days and a working time norm of 168 hours.**

## How the norm is worked out

The Polish Labour Code (art. 130) gives 8 hours for every Monday to Friday and takes off 8 hours for every public holiday not falling on a Sunday. This month: 21 × 8 h − 0 × 8 h = 168 h.

First working day: Friday, 1 October 2027. Last working day: Friday, 29 October 2027.

## One hour at the minimum wage

At the Polish minimum wage (4950 zł gross a month in 2027), an hour of work in October 2027 is worth 29.46 zł gross (4950 zł ÷ 168 h). Overtime with the 50% supplement: 44.20 zł, with 100%: 58.93 zł. The night work supplement (20% of that rate, art. 1518 of the Labour Code): 5.89 zł an hour.

## Deadlines for this month

- Pay at the latest on Wednesday, 10 November 2027 (by the 10th of the next month; when that is a day off, the day before, art. 85 of the Labour Code).
- ZUS contributions and the PIT advance of a sole trader: by Monday, 22 November 2027.
- VAT and the JPK_V7M return for monthly filers: by Thursday, 25 November 2027.

A tax or contribution deadline that falls on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday moves to the next working day (art. 12 § 5 of the Tax Ordinance). Pay moves the other way.
