# Working days and hours in Poland, April 2027

**April 2027 has 22 working days and a working time norm of 176 hours.**

The norm is for a full-time job in the basic working time system. Calendar days this month: 30.

There are no public holidays this month.

## How the norm is worked out

The Polish Labour Code (art. 130) gives 8 hours for every Monday to Friday and takes off 8 hours for every public holiday not falling on a Sunday. This month: 22 × 8 h − 0 × 8 h = 176 h.

First working day: Thursday, 1 April 2027. Last working day: Friday, 30 April 2027.

- 1/2 of full time: 88 h
- 3/4 of full time: 132 h
- 1/4 of full time: 44 h

## One hour at the minimum wage

At the Polish minimum wage (4950 zł gross a month in 2027), an hour of work in April 2027 is worth 28.13 zł gross (4950 zł ÷ 176 h). Overtime with the 50% supplement: 42.19 zł, with 100%: 56.25 zł. The night work supplement (20% of that rate, art. 1518 of the Labour Code): 5.63 zł an hour.

## Deadlines for this month

- Pay at the latest on Monday, 10 May 2027 (by the 10th of the next month; when that is a day off, the day before, art. 85 of the Labour Code).
- ZUS contributions and the PIT advance of a sole trader: by Thursday, 20 May 2027.
- VAT and the JPK_V7M return for monthly filers: by Tuesday, 25 May 2027.

A tax or contribution deadline that falls on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday moves to the next working day (art. 12 § 5 of the Tax Ordinance). Pay moves the other way.
