Photograph a receipt and have the amount and date read automatically.

You take a photo of a receipt and the app reads the amount, the date and the merchant off it.

The reading happens in your browser

This is the most important thing about this module. Text recognition runs on your device — the photo is not sent to a server. Only the values you confirm are.

A receipt says what you bought, where and when. That is too detailed a record to send anywhere without a reason.

Correcting the reading

The reading is sometimes uncertain, especially on a creased or faded receipt. That is why you see every value before saving and can correct it — the app stores nothing without your confirmation.

The date goes wrong most often, because it tends to be printed most faintly. The amount usually comes out right.

After saving

A confirmed receipt becomes a transaction in your budget. You can pick the category straight away.
