A list of things to do, with due dates and priorities.

A straightforward task module: title, due date, priority, tick it off.

Priority is not a due date

These are two different things and it pays not to confuse them. The due date says when something has to be done. The priority says what to do first when you cannot do everything.

A low-priority task due tomorrow is often more urgent than a high-priority one with no date at all.

Filters

You can narrow the list to open tasks, overdue ones, or a particular priority. Open tasks show by default — finished ones leave your field of view, but not the database.

How this reaches the dashboard

Overdue tasks land in the "needs attention" section, and tasks due in the next few days appear on the timeline. A task with no due date shows up in neither, which is sometimes exactly right: not everything needs a date.
