Deleting your Ordiarion account

You delete the account yourself, inside the application, without asking anybody. This page is here for people who have already uninstalled the app or cannot sign in.

In the app, straight away

1. Sign in at ordiarion.com — in a browser or in the Android app.
2. Open Settings (the account icon, top right).
3. At the bottom, choose Delete account and confirm with your password.

Deletion takes effect immediately and cannot be undone. We send no confirmation and nobody calls to ask whether you meant it.

What is removed

• The account, its e-mail address and password.
• All your financial data: transactions, categories, accounts and balances, loans, debts, income, taxes, recurring costs, planned payments.
• Tasks, goals, habits, shopping lists, journal, work time, receipts and attachments.
• Settings, the dashboard, API keys and consents.
• The subscription ends. Payment history stays with the payment provider for as long as accounting law requires — neither we nor you can remove that.

Shared data somebody received from you, such as a shopping list shared with your family, stops being linked to you. Entries that person added remain theirs.

How long it takes

Data leaves the database immediately. It leaves the backups within 30 days, which is how long we keep them against a failure. One person cannot be removed from last week's backup without voiding it for everybody else in it.

I cannot sign in

First try resetting your password. If that does not work, write to kontakt@ordiarion.com from the address the account was opened with — otherwise we have no way of telling whether the account is yours. We delete within 30 days of the message, usually the same day.

I do not want to delete everything

A single module can be cleared without touching the rest: Settings holds a data export and per-module deletion. An account without a subscription keeps read-only access, so stopping payment does not require deleting anything.
