Count working days and working hours between two dates in Poland. The calculator takes out statutory public holidays, including Christmas Eve, a day off since 2025, and shows which of them fall on a Saturday. No account.
Where these numbers come from: Working days versus the working time norm in Poland
Working days are Monday to Friday without public holidays. The Polish norm is 8 hours for every Monday to Friday, less 8 hours for every holiday that is not on a Sunday. A holiday on a Saturday therefore keeps the working days but lowers the hours, and the employer has to give another day off for it.
Yes. Since 2025, 24 December is a statutory day off, so December has one working day fewer than before whenever it falls on a weekday.
Usually between 19 and 23, depending on how the weekdays fall and which holidays land between Monday and Friday. The year pages have the full tables.
The hours are for a full-time job in the basic working time system. For part-time work, multiply them by the fraction of the full time.
