March 2027 has 22 working days and a working time norm of 176 hours.
The norm is for a full-time job in the basic working time system. Calendar days this month: 31.
The Polish Labour Code (art. 130) gives 8 hours for every Monday to Friday and takes off 8 hours for every public holiday not falling on a Sunday. This month: 23 × 8 h − 1 × 8 h = 176 h.
First working day: Monday, 1 March 2027. Last working day: Wednesday, 31 March 2027.
Legal basis: art. 130 of the Polish Labour Code and the Act of 18 January 1951 on public holidays (Christmas Eve off since 2025). More: working days versus the working time norm.
At the Polish minimum wage (4950 zł gross a month in 2027), an hour of work in March 2027 is worth 28.13 zł gross (4950 zł ÷ 176 h). Overtime with the 50% supplement: 42.19 zł, with 100%: 56.25 zł. The night work supplement (20% of that rate, art. 1518 of the Labour Code): 5.63 zł an hour.
A tax or contribution deadline that falls on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday moves to the next working day (art. 12 § 5 of the Tax Ordinance). Pay moves the other way.
